Transcending Autism

What is Transcending Autism?
It's a complete Holistic Perception Development™ programme developed to give Autistic children the opportunity to learn, grow and change within their individual parameters. HPD™ is a complex triad educational training-treatment system, which cannot be separated nor provided in a different pattern.

It encourages the children to engage in sensory stimulation, music and movement, speech and language development, hydrokinetics, massage, exercises, stretching and maintaining focus.

This programme is structured in such a way as to cover all domains of perception - auditory, visual, tactile, vestibular, proprioceptive, gustatory and olfactory. It is designed to respect the different developmental stages of children, to stimulate and stabilize the ability of contact as well as establish the fundamentals of communication.

In a sense, the programme allows the child to re-grow him/herself.

What are they saying about Transcending Autism?
"This natural therapy has had wonderful benefits not just for Rosie. During the programme I found it an essential support to me and I gained new insights into Rosie's difficulties and thought processes.
It brought a new energy and fresh perspectives that were essential to Rosie's progress. One year on I am pleased to say things have improved from those initial dark days and nights."

What is Autism?

If someone has autism, his or her brain has trouble with an important task; that is making sense of the world.  Each day, your brain interprets the sights, sounds and other stimuli.  If your brain couldn't help you understand these things, you would have trouble functioning, talking, going to school, and doing other everyday stuff.

Sadly there is no cure for autism, but doctors, therapists, and special teachers can help children with autism overcome or adjust to many difficulties.  The earlier a child starts treatment for autism, the better.

Some children with mild autism will grow up and be able to live on their own.  Those with more serious problems will always need some kind of help.  All children with autism have brighter and happier futures when they have the support and empathy of doctors, teachers, caregivers, parents, brothers, sisters, and friends.
