Jocelyn Oades

 trustee, tao founder, jocelyn oades

I am proud to be of Ngati Whatua - Te uri o hau and Tainui descent and French Heritage.
As a company co-owner, I have worked in office and financial administration for the past 20 years and working within the Asia Pacific Basin, it has enabled me to utilise communication skills with indigenous peoples.

This has provided a rewarding dynamic between cultures.

I have experienced owning a Health & Wellness Salon operating for 10 years in Downtown Auckland for Men and Women to create Therapeutic inner healing to radiate external beauty and vibrant health using Certified Organic skincare and therapies.

As a Reiki Master Teacher it is my philosophy to enhance the gifts of the individual to allow a powerful catalyst for change.

I am a Life Strategist with the InsincLife Academy as a Master Trainer developing Transformational Leadership in the Health and Wellness sector. As a member of The Global Senate we are committed to be productive with Business for Social Responsibility.

My personal vision and project which is in the foundation stage is developing an Organic Day Spa and International Resort, supporting our young people to gain education with customer focus, showcasing our Heritage in the Tourism Industry. My aim is to build confidence and personal development with our youth to enable them to be proud and responsible Leaders in the International arena.

Life membership of XL (Extraordinary Lives) allows me to connect to their vision for Global oneness and to free humanity from poverty.

As Founder of The TaO Charitable Trust I bring my life experience and passion to support my friends, and mission to help energetically transform our planet. It is my desire therefore to be of service to make a compelling difference to facilitate resources for our young people in our community, country and globally.

What is Autism?

If someone has autism, his or her brain has trouble with an important task; that is making sense of the world.  Each day, your brain interprets the sights, sounds and other stimuli.  If your brain couldn't help you understand these things, you would have trouble functioning, talking, going to school, and doing other everyday stuff.

Sadly there is no cure for autism, but doctors, therapists, and special teachers can help children with autism overcome or adjust to many difficulties.  The earlier a child starts treatment for autism, the better.

Some children with mild autism will grow up and be able to live on their own.  Those with more serious problems will always need some kind of help.  All children with autism have brighter and happier futures when they have the support and empathy of doctors, teachers, caregivers, parents, brothers, sisters, and friends.
